The project began in May, 2017 and ended in September 2020, on which the project provided support to children and youth living and working on the streets.

After Kizazi Kipya project completed, Railways Children Africa (RCA) extended the project for 10 months from July 2021- May 2022 with the aim of preventing the increment of street children and identification of children living and working on the street all the time (Full time street).
In controlling the increase of street entry children, the emphasis is on providing parenting training (ACT TRAINING) to parents and caregivers especially in areas that have many street children.
The targeted areas/activities is:
- Identifying children living and working on the street
- Reintegration them with their families
- To provide safe parenting training for parents and caregivers
- Providing scholastic materials.
- Providing health services
- To provide business training and food support to the most vulnerable families.
