As summer is approaching, does your desire to travel keep growing? Kisedet offers you (all year round) the possibility of experiencing alternative tourism to allow you to discover the beauty and culture of Tanzania. But what is responsible tourism?
Responsible Tourism can be defined with three adjectives: awareness, sustainability and support; which means that the traveler is aware of the trip, the project is respectful to the locals and the natural environments and tries to leave most of the resources spent in the country they are visiting.
Our last trip guaranteed that 71% of the budget remained in Tanzania and half of that which is, 35%, directly financed local solidarity associations that deal with reception, education, healthcare, agriculture, and microcredit. It is a different way of traveling that always leaves something unforgettable in the heart and souls of those who live an experience of this kind.
KISEDET can organize the trip and host people who want to spend a completely alternative holiday in direct contact with its collaborators, volunteers and beneficiaries of the projects. This will be a “getting to know each other” experience. You can spend days with the kids in the long-term shelter, spend some time in the village, and end on a high note by taking a safari and spending a few days on the Indian Ocean. During all this, you will be accompanied by a cultural mediator who will allow you to come into direct contact with locals and the Swahili culture.
