Drop-in Center

For some time now, KISEDET has also managed a Drop-in Center aimed at street children and adolescents.
The purpose of this project is to welcome them and give them the opportunity to take a shower, wash their clothes, have a safe place to rest, receive a hot meal and bring them back on the tracks of life through various fun activities and more.
The center is open every day from 8:00 to 16:00 and if they happen to be sick, they can spend the night there.

They carry out various activities together with social workers such as drawing therapy, garden cultivation, yoga and meditation, psychological and legal support, and other seminars. They are asked to pay attention to personal hygiene, to keep the center clean during their stay, and to follow the advice and duties that are assigned to them every day.
After about a month it is possible to understand who intends to leave life in the streets and come and live at the Shukurani short-term shelter and continue with the next path. Those who are not ready, if they want, can always continue to attend the Drop-in Center, the doors for them are always open.

The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.
