On March 11th, in front of a Government Officer from the Social Department, KISEDET delivered sewing machines to six girls.

These girls have completed the sewing training course sponsored by USAID/PACT.

They were ten when they began, but only those six completed the course. Three of them are single mothers, living in villages and/or outskirts of Dodoma with their children and parents. This training will give them hope for a better future, helping them to be independent and support their families.
One of them, Gaudensia, followed a three-year course at the “Umoja wa Mafundi” (united workers) professional school, thanks to the long-distance support she received from Gruppo Tanzania ETS, which helps children to study until professional or high school, college, or University, through scholarship.
